This place is under new ownership and I had a wonderful conversation with the owner on Friday night. He was courteous, kind, and understands the meaning of customer service. The last owner was rude and curt. I run a small independent film business and explained to him that I sometimes need to have more than 2 people in the room with me, depending on the scene we're shooting. He was not only very threatening about his "2 people only" policy but once called the police on me, even though the 2 actors were in the room and the video, sound, and lighting guys were standing outside the room with the door open. The new owner explained to me that, as long as there are no complaints from fellow guests, we can have as many people in the room as we'd like, which is going to increase the quality of our production ten fold! I'm excited to give a huge load of our business to the Bronx Park Motel and I'm going to come again and again.
